Alert message sent 23/09/2020 09:46:00

Crime Prevention Advice

A pedal cycle has been stolen overnight from Goole Train Station. A further cycle was stolen from Tesco's Distribution Centre on Monday 21/09/20. Both cycles were locked.
Please make sure you invest in a good quality lock. As a guide, spend at least 10% of the value of the bike on a lock.

D Locks (if made from hardened steel) are harder to cut than chains or wire locks. Check out for certified locks.

Also consider registering your bike on This is a Police approved, free to use property registration website where you can create your own personal property records. All recorded items require a serial or frame number and can include photographs. Should any item become lost or stolen the owner can use the website to make all 43 UK Police Forces and registered second-hand dealers aware.
