Humberside Police have received a report of a Burglary to an allotment off West View in Messingham between the 9th and 10th July 2019.

The offender/s have taken 10 to 15 small Ruby blocks of Rat Poison some of which have been found unwrapped in one of the local parks suggesting those responsible maybe local children.

Parents please be aware of this incident, if you have a child who is presenting has been unwell please consider this incident and if necessary seek immediate medical attention. We would also ask dog owners to be cautious when walking their dogs in the parks/recreational areas of  Messingham.

It is likely most of the Rat Poison has been recovered but please exercise caution, should any blocks of Rat Poison be found please contact North Lincs Council on 01724 297000 in the first incidence so the poison can be safely removed please also notify Humberside Police.
