FREE online Child Exploitation Awareness workshop

Alert message sent 07/06/2021 14:03:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Do you know the signs to look out for when it comes to Child Exploitation?

Sexual exploitation is a form of abuse where young people are forced or manipulated into sexual activity. The abuser may groom the young person into trusting them – this can be done face-to-face or online. The abuser then exploits this trust for their own gain.

Child sexual exploitation can take many forms and victims and criminals can be from any social or ethnic background.

This session will take place on Thursday 10th June @ 3.30pm and will be delivered by Lisa Finch from Hull City Council's Vulnerable, Exploited, Missing and Trafficked Team.

This session aims to educate the public on spotting and reporting the signs of child exploitation.

The workshop will include subjects such as:
  • Child Exploitation awareness including County Lines
  • Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking
  • Contextual Safeguarding
To book your place, please e-mail office@nnetwork.org.uk or call 01482 826061.
