The Mini Police Challenge

Has your child been involved in the Mini Police Project? This year we have launched an exciting new challenge for the Mini Police to continue what they have learnt. In collaboration with Lifestyle 2025 we have created the Mini Police Challenge!

The Mini Police Challenge is for any pupils who have taken part in the Mini Police scheme - a brilliant chance for young people to continue their time as Mini Police officers and make a positive change in their community.

 

What is the Mini Police Challenge?

  • The Mini Police Challenge is part of Humberside Police’s Lifestyle project. The Lifestyle Project runs from July to September and is intended for young people to run a project in the summer holidays. 
  • The challenge can be created by using one or more of the 7 lessons the Mini Police learnt during their time taking part in the project. 
  • We are hoping the Mini Police take what they have learnt by becoming a team of one or more and create a project which will run in the summer holidays to help the wider community. This could include:
  • Creating a campaign to share their knowledge about crime prevention.
  • A sponsored walk to raise awareness of anti-bullying.
  • Posters and leaflets on how to stay safe online.

    •      4. Participants will have the chance to win exciting prizes—including a trip to Paris and Disneyland!

         5. All Mini Police will be invited to the Lifestyle Awards which normally take place in November. 

     

    Who can Take Part in the Challenge?

  • One or some of the team members must have taken part in the Mini Police Project at their school.
  • The Mini Police challenge will take place as part of Lifestyle and will require an Adult Advisor (parent of guardian) to supervise them in the school holidays.

  • All the Mini Police who originally took part can create a team or just some of them.
