Garage Break in Windsor Road

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood

Overnight on Sunday 28th March 2021 attempts have been made to enter a garage on Windsor Road. The garage is located in a block of six garages behind houses. The suspect has and tried to gain access by bending the garage door back. It was unsuccessful and entry has not been gained to the garage and nothing has been stolen. If you saw anybody acting suspiciously from Sunday 28th March 2021 between 6pm to 7am on Monday 29th March 2021 please contact Humberside Police on 101 and quote investigation number 16/35323/21.

Crime Prevention for sheds/garages

Keep the shed/garage secure at all times

Fill in or fit bars over any windows and prevent a view inside

Ensure all doors are secure with a good quality lock

Ensure hinges are coach bolted and cannot be removed

Fit a stand alone alarm or consider connection to any existing house alarm 

Chain & anchor the valuable/desirable items
