Alert message sent 06/01/2021 10:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood

Dear Residents,

We have received a call for service from a resident on MELLOR WAY in NEW WALTHAM, that between 18:00 hours on Monday 4th January 2021 and 06:30 hours on Tuesday 5th January 2021, unknown suspect(s) have approached a metal detached garage and forced entry by using an unknown implement to prize open the door. Once inside a tidy search was conducted and two high valued pedal cycles have been stolen.

They were described as black Cube mountain bikes where one was valued at £3400 and the other which was an electric bike was valued at £4100.

Unfortunately I do not have any descriptions of the suspect(s) or photographs of the high valued bikes.

How can you help?

1. Did you see or hear anything during the times above?
2. Would you be able to view your CCTV and see if there is any suspicious activity during the above times?

If the answer is 'Yes' to any of the above, can you please reply to either this alert or call the Police on 101 quoting the investigation number 16/11141/21.

Feel free to share with your family, friends, neighbours and on social media sites.

Kind Regards,

David Cave
