Crime Prevention Advice



Dear Residents,
Following two Dwelling Burglaries in Humberston last night please see below top tips on how to protect your home.
Do not leave your home insecure at anytime.
keep doors and windows locked, even if you are outside in the garden.
Keep valuables out of sight -  away from windows.
Keep house and car keys out of reach and sight of doors and windows.
Make sure all outbuildings including garages and sheds are kept locked.
Use Movement activated floodlights and garden lighting to unnerve burglars.
Restrict access to your garden with gates and fences that are difficult to climb over/get through.
Burglars do not like gravel-its noisy to walk on.
Consider Marking valuables with a UV pen,
Register valuables on www.immobilise.com
Use track my Iphone.
Look out for neighbours property's when away.
Report any suspicious activity immediately on 101, or 999 if a crime is being committed.
