Local News Update

Dear Resident,

Below is the crime info for New Waltham.

Humberston & New Waltham Ward Update August 2020

Crime

There have been 43 reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Ward for July. There have been nineteen reported crimes for New Waltham.

These crimes include:

Overnight 8th & 9th July building materials were stolen from within a new build house on Tromso Close after forcing a door to gain entry.
During the early hours of 19th July a burglary occurred at a barn adjoining a home on Hewitts Avenue. Several items of property were removed but found outside the premises, however, a motorbike is still missing.
During the late evening of 19th July a burglary occurred at the Car Was facility on Louth Road when a window was forced to enter the property. An industrial hoover was stolen.
A criminal damage whereby a car was damaged whilst parked on the Persimmon building site on Millenium Farm, Humberston Avenue.
Five thefts from the Co-Op store.
Three assaults.
One report of harassment.

There have been five reports of ASB:

Four relate to a noisy party at Thompson Road, although several residents rang the police to report the issue throughout the day.
Report of a young girl on the pavilion field drunk. Dealt with by ambulance.

Hope you find the above very informative, only by reporting incidents can your local policing team target those who are causing us harm. However with that said, our figures both in Humberston and New Waltham Wards are relatively low compared to other Wards.

Thank you for your calls for service and your continued support.

If there are any friends or neighbours who are not yet registered on www.mycommunityalert.co.uk could you ask them to sign up or alternatively make contact with your local policing team and we will happily sign them up.

Feel free to to share with your family, friends or socail media.

Kind Regards

Dave
