Arrests made following reported drug activity on Morpeth Street

Two people are in our custody today after enquiries were made at an address on Morpeth Street in Hull, following reports from members of the public of suspected drug activity at the property.

As part of our investigations into the reports, officers were conducting patrols in the area to gather intelligence when they spotted some suspicious activity going on at the address.

They attended to carry out further enquiries and a 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. Both remain in our custody at this time whilst enquiries continue.

If you have any information about crime or drug activity in your area please report it to us so that we can investigate and where appropriate carry out further action.

You can report info by calling our non-emergency 101 line or anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. In an emergency always dial 999.
