VE Day Street parties 08-05-2020

Alert message sent 07/05/2020 18:36:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

Local News Update

Having Patrolled around all three wards this week we have noticed the bunting and Union flags going up in preparation for VE Day celebrations and street parties planned for Friday 8th May 2020.
(We could not pick a winner but all three wards easily better than the rest of Gy!!)
Obviously this is a very worthy cause and rightly so should be celebrated as such, to that end could i respectfully remind all our residents to observe the social distancing protocol and stay in your own gardens/2 metre distance.

Am not trying to put a dampener on the day but if we all observe the rules it will stop other members of the public reporting many covid breaches.

Thank you all in advance and enjoy the day.
