Newland Park Burglaries



There have been a series of burglaries in the Newland Park area of Hull.  Houses, sheds and garages have been targetted.  In addition there have been two cars broken in to on Newland Park.

The neighbourhood policing team is aware of these incidents have increased patrolling in the area.  We have also visited the residents who have been effected by these crimes and completed house to house enquiries in the immediate vicinity of the crimes.

Please be vigilant.  Make sure doors and windows are locked when you are not in.  If you have an alarm, ensure the alarm is set.  Keep car keys out of sight and away from the front door or porch area.
Ensure your garage or shed is locked with good quality locks and is secured when you are not using them.
Park your car in a well lit area.  Do not leave valuables on show.  Do not leave sat nav cradles or mobile phone cradles left on display.  Do not leave documents in the glove box of your car.

You can register your belongings on immobilise.com which is a free service to keep a log of your valuables and their serial numbers.

If you have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the Newland Park area please call 101 and ask for PC 2009 Carl Palmer.  If you see anyone acting suspiciously call 101 immediately.
