Burglaries and suspicious activity in Bottesford

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood



Over night last night Police received numerous calls regarding suspicious activity and burglaries:
Burglaries:
-Moorwell Road (Newdown Rd end) between 11.30pm & 3.45am: Offenders have climbed the garden fence and used a crow bar to break into the garage however no entry was gained. (16/80150/21)
-Moorwell Road (Newdown Rd end) between 10.30pm & 8.30am: Offenders have entered outbuildings by attacking the frames. Entry was gained but nothing belived to have been stolen. (16/80151/21)
-Headingley Avenue between 3.20am and 3.40am: Offenders have tried the house doors and also car doors. They have then walked down neighbour's garden and climbed the fence and then used a hammer to break into the shed. Once in the shed they have stolen 2 bikes. (16/80156/21)
-Moorwell Road at 3.42am attempt burglary of a garage (log 65 11/08/21)

Suspicious Activity:
Moorwell Rd at 3.30am 3 males trying car doors.
Low Leys Rd (Lovell Rd area) at 4.16am male trying car door handles and hiding.
West View & St David's Crescent 04.10am males seen acting suspiciously with torches in gardens.

If you live in these areas and have CCTV please check your footage around these times for images of the offenders. If you have anything of interest please call 101 and we can follow it up. Also check your outbuildings/shed etc and if you have been broken into please also call 101 to report.
