Residential Burglary: Walnut Crescent in Cleethorpes

Alert message sent 29/07/2021 08:55:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood

Dear Resident,

Although not in Humberston and New Waltham Ward, please be aware and ensure that we keep our premises locked and secured.

Police had received a report that between 15:00 - 16:00 hours on Wednesday 28 July 2021 unknown suspect(s) had attended the front door of an address on WALNUT CRESCENT in CLEETHORPES (close to PINE COURT junction). The suspect(s) then opened the unsecured front porch door and entered the porch. The suspect(s) then opened the unlocked front door to the property and entered the address - while the victim was inside the address packing her clothes for a holiday and did not hear the suspect(s).

Once inside the address the suspect(s) stole the victim's dog which is a black/tan 18 month old Cavapoo from within the address. The suspect(s) makes off, leaving the inner front door ajar and closed the outer porch door in an unknown direction.

The victim is clearly distraught and I need your help to retrieve the victim's Cavapoo.

How can you help?

1. Did you see or hear anything suspicious during the above times?
2. Do you have any CCTV which could assist with the investigation?
3. Do you know the whereabouts of the victim's Cavapoo?

If the answer is 'Yes' to any of the above questions, could I request that you contact 101 or alternatively reply to this alert by quoting Investigation Number 16/76006/21?

Thank you

Kind Regards

Dave
