Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A vehicle crime has been reported in your neighbourhood.

Good afternoon residents,

I regret to inform you that between the evening of 23/07/2021 and the early hours of 24/07/2021 in the areas of Tideswell Court, Chesterfield Road & Ashbourne Court there were a total of 4 theft from motor vehicles reported to police.

I am asking residents of these streets and the streets near by to please review any CCTV recording footage, from the dates and times mentioned, that you may have to help aid police enquiries.

The crimes took place between 20:45 23/7/21 and potentially into the early hours of the 24/7/21. Please could we also ask that you check any earlier footage for possible suspects to be identified entering or leaving the streets or trying other vehicles.

Furthermore, if you have any information relating to these incidents that you think will aid police enquiries please call in on 101 and let us know.

If you are receiving this and you think you neighbours/friends have CCTV covering these areas, please ask them to review. Also, encourage them to sign up to My Community Alert so that they are able to receive alerts such as these in the future should we need to.

While it might seem obvious, please remember not to leave anything valuable in unattended vehicles and make sure that your vehicles are locked and secured when exiting. For further vehicle crime prevention advice please visit the link below.
