Local News Update

Dear Resident,

I sent out a my community alert on 22 April 2021 in relation to anti-social behaviour in and around The Pavilion in New Waltham.

There was also a Facebook post of a male (and it was published in the Grimsby Telegraph) who wrote the following "DAVE CAVE, OLD BILL! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!" Although I was impressed that whoever wrote it knew me as the local Police Officer, I naturally accepted the challenge on Facebook to show the person responsible what I would do.

Today I have spoken to the male and informed him that I will be issuing him with an anti-social behaviour warning letter as a result. There was no damage caused as a result and I would like to thank the Caretaker of The Pavilion for ensuring that the markings came off.

My colleagues and I will be continuing with patrols within the Village and I would like to thank you all for your continued support and calls for service.

I would also like to thank Parish Chair of New Waltham for the joint patrols.

I would like to request that if you see anything suspicious then to please contact Police using the 999/101 or on-line reporting system.

Once again, thank you for your continued support.

Please feel free to share or rate this message, by clicking 'share' at the bottom of the message.

Kind Regards

Dave
