Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Citizen,

After the success of our previous session, the Neighbourhood Network are pleased to schedule another Cancer Champion Awareness Workshop.

This friendly and open session will be taking place on Wednesday 7th April at 10.30am.

The statistics state that 1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime and due to Covid-19 the NHS has seen a reduction in cancer referrals.  However, early diagnosis is vital and can save lives, so we wanted to help raise awareness and bring these issues to the forefront of everyone’s minds!

If you want to better understand and learn about the different signs and symptoms of cancer, then join us online for a friendly and informal chat to become more cancer aware.

The session will take place online using the zoom software on Wednesday 7th April at 10.30am.

Throughout April the Neighbourhood Network will be organising other online events which may be of interest to you, these include:

Cyber & Fraud Awareness Workshop – Monday 19th April at 3pm
Meet Humberside Police & Crime Commissioner Candidates Event – Thursday 22nd April at 6.30pm
Wildlife in your Community workshop – Friday 30th April at 10.30am

For more information on any of the above events, visit: https://www.nnetwork.org.uk/events/
