SKIRLAUGH: Report of discarded nails on carriageway

Discarded nails, screws & tacks along carriageway



Police have received a report from a concerned member of the public that a large quantity of nails, screws and tacks had been discarded along Dorest Avenue and Benningholme Lane area of Skirlaugh. 

A member of the parish council discovered the nails this afternoon around the entrance to the Village Hall and school site and spent the afternoon clearing up the majority along with several residents.

Please take care if passing the area. If anyone knows anything about this; please call the police on 101 with police incident log 287 of 10/1/21
