Don’t leave presents on show in vehicles
If you’re putting presents under the tree think about whether it can easily be seen through a door/ window.

Staying safe after a few drinks
Socialising may look different this year but where there are opportunities to let your hair down/ have a few drinks don’t put yourself at risk.
Arrange taxis/ transport ahead of time
Drink in moderation – especially if you’re driving the next day
Keep your distance from hostile situations

Drink driving
More people are likely to be drinking at home – where each drink is likely to have a far bigger measure than you’d get in a bar.
The number of drinks you’ve had may not be the same as the number of units you have had – and it may take longer than you think to get out of your system.
