Western Avenue Brigg

Alert message sent 26/09/2020 11:54:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A crime has been reported in your area

The Brigg & Wolds Neighbourhood Policing Team have received a number of complaints regarding children who have made a den in the hedgerow on Western Avenue in Brigg.

This in itself would not be an issue if it wasn't for the fact the children have been snapping/cutting the branches causing damage to the hedgerow which is now becoming an unsightly area much to the annoyance of local residents.

Local officer are requesting parents who live in and around the Western Avenue area to be mindful of what your children are up to. We would actively encourage children to be outside with their friends but to play sensibly and not cause damage. Local officers will patrol the area as and when they practicably can and will speak to the children should they be seen at the location to offer them advice.

The Brigg & Wolds Neighbourhood Policing Team would very much appreciate your support in this matter. Should you wish to discuss that matter further with your local officers please respond to this message and we will contact you as soon as we practicably can.

Thank you

Brigg & Wolds NPT
