Shed Burglary - Male Arrested - Bridlington

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood



Over the past few weeks we have been experiencing a number of garage break-ins around the Bridlington area.

Around 23.00hrs Friday 31/07/20 officers arrested an adult male who was detained inside a garage on Sewerby Road, Bridlington after the garage door was located forced open.

The male was taken into custody where he was interviewed and charged with burglary. 

Crime Prevention Advice –
 
Keep the shed/garage secure at all times 

Fill in or fit bars over any windows and prevent a view inside

Ensure all doors are secure with quality lock

Ensure hinges are coach bolted and cannot be removed

Fit a standalone alarm or connect it to the house system
