Local News Update


Dear Resident,

Below is the crime info for Humberston only at this time. I will send out another Community Alert, once I have the crime information for New Waltham.

Humberston & New Waltham Ward Update August 2020
 
Crime

There have been 43 reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Ward for July. There were 24 reports for Humberston.

Commercial Burglary: 4                                                                                                 

During the evening of 3rd July entry was made into the unoccupied McCormack’s Bar. It is unknown if anything was stolen.
About 1am on 8th July Lucarly’s pub on Wilton Road was entered via the roof. Alcohol was stolen.
During the early hours of 18th July an attempt was made to enter the Golden Bridge Takeaway on North Sea Lane by forcing the front door. No entry was  made.
Around the same time, an attempt was made to enter the Ticker T Boo store by trying to force a window. Damage was caused but no entry made.

Vehicle Crime: 2

During the early hours of 14th July a person is caught on CCTV trying car doors on Lime Grove. 
Sometime during the day on 20th July a horse riding saddle and boots were stolen from a car parked at a premises on Jackson Place.  

Criminal Damage: 4

A fire was set in an outbuilding at a derelict property on Tetney Road.                       
A resident has been charged with causing damage within a residential home on Humberston Avenue.
Damage to a car parked at the building site on Humberston Avenue.                     
Damage to a car parked on Links Drive by puncturing all four tyres and breaking a wing mirror.

Other crimes include

Six assaults.          
Two shop thefts from the Spar.
A theft of a bike from Links Drive and Thorpe Park.        
                                                                                  
There have been four reports of ASB:
Motorbike being ridden illegally on South Sea Lane. 
Noisy party Church Lane.
General nuisance at a property under renovation on Tetney Road. 
One Neighbour dispute.
