June 24

a 34 year old local man received a Warning under the Anti social behaviour order for failing to instal a solid backdrop for an archery target.

The second incident of arrows landing in gardens of neighbouring properties caused those residents some alarm.

Archery Backdrops

Archery targets should be equipped with some form of backstop to prevent errant arrows from travelling too far beyond the target. This safety feature is important for two reasons. First, it protects any individuals that inadvertently wander behind the range. Backdrops also make it much easier to find and collect fired arrows.

Luckily, there were no injuries; we,as a community, must make sure its safety for all
