Local News Update

Dear Resident,

After seeing a post on FACEBOOK called 'DN35' that people were fishing in the Cleethorpes Country Park, your local Policing team have carried out daily patrols at various times within the Park. During our patrol no person(s) were not found to be fishing.

We have also carried out patrols within Haverstoe Park and yesterday I found 3 males congregating within a motor vehicle, drinking and 'chilling'. Needless to say that they were spoken to and after apologising, they left Haverstoe Park soon afterwards.

Patrols were also conducted near the Boating Lake and on the sea front heading towards Thorpe Park, where people were found to be having a bbq. Again they were spoken to and after apologising, left soon afterwards.

We are all in this together and I appreciate that at times it is more difficult than other times, however we are in unprecedented times and we need to adhere to the Government Guidelines in order to protect each and every single one of us.

Thank you for your efforts and if you believe that someone is breaching the COVID-19 guidelines, feel free to report them via our on-line system.

When you see your local policing team, feel free to discuss any issues you may have or even just to 'Hi'.

Thank you.

Kind Regards

Dave
