Alert message sent 09/04/2020 16:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

Witness appeal - Can you help?

Dear Resident,

I appreciate that it had occurred in Haverstoe Ward, however it is not to far away from you.

Police have received a report that on Thursday 08 April 2020 between 18:55 and 19:00 hours a 15 year old male was cycling on his bicycle after just returning from the shops. He was cycling on CHICHESTER ROAD (close to number 94), when he was approached by a white male, late teens, about 6' inches tall wearing a black hoody with hood up and black bottoms.

The suspect approached the young male victim where he pushed the victim, causing him to fall off his bike before the suspect, takes the bike and cycles off on the victim's bike where he heads towards TAYLORS AVENUE in CLEETHORPES.

The bike was descrived as a CLAUD BUTLER bike in electric blue.

How can you help
1. Did you happen to see or hear the incident?
2. Have you got any CCTV of the suspect that was described above?

If the answer is 'Yes', can you please report it via the 101 or on-line system quoting Investigation Number 16/43112/20, or alternative reply to my alert.

Let us work together to get this bike back to the rightful owner.

Please feel free to share this alert on any social media platform.

Thank you

Kind Regards

Dave
