Shed Burglaries

Alert message sent 26/03/2020 16:22:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood

Good afternoon

Hope you are all staying safe!
There has been an increase in shed burglaries across the Avenue Ward.  The latest being on Victoria Avenue near to Richmond Street overnight with pedal cycles stolen from within.
Please be vigilant and lock any cycles to one another and then to a heavy item within the shed.  Make it as difficult as possible for the thief.
Consider installing security lighting in your garden and fitting any lower fences with trellis as this increases height and provides an unstable vantage point.
Report any suspicious activity to Police.

Please be reassured that we are still out and about on patrol and make a point of visiting the open tenfoots most shifts.

Thank you

Vicky & Neil
