Appeal for witnesses following assault in Cleethorpes

We are appealing for witnesses to an incident that happened on Friday 31 January on the Brereton Avenue and Combe Street junction in Cleethorpes at around 9.45pm.

A man has reported that he was riding his bike along Grimsby Road when he saw a group of youths, he described as being around 10-12 years of age, throwing rocks at parked cars.  He challenged them about their behaviour and was chased, knocked off his bike and assaulted by the youths.

The man suffered facial injuries in the incident and was treated in hospital.
