Overnight flooding

Alert message sent 08/11/2019 08:21:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Fire & Rescue

As the area wakes up to some localised flooding, just a plea to our communities to use the 999 service ONLY when required for a genuine emergency.

We have attended over 200 incidents in the last 12 hours and will continue to attend more throughout the morning. Our resources are finite and priority will always be given to those calls where there is risk to life or water entering / about to enter property.

Please work with us as the weather finally seems to have turned in our favour.

Thank you.
