Community Safety News

As Christmas draws closer and many of us are ordering items from the Internet and awaiting parcels been delivered once again the parcel delivery scam has arisen. A card is posted through your door stating a parcel has been attempted to be delivered usually by the company name Parcel delivery service. The card asks to call a number to re arrange delivery this is a premium rate number which runs in to the hundreds of pounds its all automated so you don't physically speak to a real person. Please be mindful if are awaiting parcels to be delivered check with the company who is making the delivery and don't fall foul of this scam.
