Bank Holiday Crime Update - Avenue Ward

Alert message sent 27/08/2019 08:44:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

Quite a busy weekend across the Avenue Ward but crimes of note for your info:

Two sneak in burglaries reported - Salisbury Street - Games console and games stolen.
Princes Avenue - wallet and cash stolen.  Both occurred between 1pm and 6pm.

Two vehicles broken into - Beech Grove - Wallet stolen .
Clumber Street - Van entered but nothing stolen possibly looking for tools.  Both occurred overnight.

Please be vigilant during the warm weather - it is tempting to leave doors and windows open but this is a green light for the opportunist criminal.  It only takes a moment for you to become a victim of crime.  If you see anyone you believe is acting suspicious in the area please let us know.

Thank you.
