Alert message sent 22/08/2019 06:40:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

An arson has been reported in your
neighbourhood.

Dear Resident,

Police have received a report that on Wednesday 21st August 2019 between 1 pm and 3 pm someone had deliberately set fire to an area within Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes.  Although no one was hurt it is believed that the fire was deliberately set. A white male with a yellow t-shirt was seen to have walked away from the area when the arson was noticed.

How can you help?
1. Did you see or hear anything suspicious on the date and times above?
2. Have you got any CCTV that may assist with the investigation?
3. Was it you in the yellow t-shirt that was seen walking away from the arson?

If the answer is 'YES' to any above question(s), please reply to this alert or contact Police on 101 and quote Log Number 388 of 21/08/2019.

I would like to remind residents, that playing with fire is extremely dangerous and not only does it wreck property but it also wreck lives.

Kind Regards

David Cave
