Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood

There has been an increase in Burglaries across the Isle for both dwellings and out buildings. Please ensure you keep your home secure at all times locking windows and doors. Also keep keys and expensive items out of sight and consider security lighting around the outside of your property and light timers inside your property. If you are going to be away for any length of time, let your neighbours know so they can also keep an eye on your property. Mark It, Track It - register your valuables at www.immobilise.com to make sure the police know that the items belong to you. If your valuables do go missing or gets stolen, having it registered can increase the chance of it being identified and returned. Register your valuables ITS FREE !!, Also if you have  friends or neighbour  have not signed up to MY COMMUNITY ALERT, why not tell them about it ? IT IS FREE, or speak with your local Community Beat Manager.
