Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

APPEAL for witnesses of a Commercial Burglary at Wetherspoons in Goole

We are investigating a Burglary that occurred at the City & County, Wetherspoons public house in Goole on Monday 4th February 2019 between the early hours of 04:12 and 04:20 hours.

It is thought that the suspects approached the rear doors of the pub from the beer garden and used garden furniture to smash the door window and reach through to unlock the doors. The suspects then entered, searched the bar area and then smashed three bandit machines open taking cash from two of them. The empty cash boxes were located the next morning in the car park at the rear of the Boyes store in Wesley Square.

We are appealing for witnesses who may have noticed any suspicious activity in Wetherspoons in the days prior to the incident. We are also trying to establish what vehicle was used to leave the scene and if anyone saw anything suspicious around the rear of the Boyes store.

Please call us on 101, quoting log number 36 04/02/2019 or investigation number 16/22045/19. You can also report information anonymously here if you prefer: https://www.google.com/search?q=hhtps://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously
