Operation Galileo Update for your area

The Rural Crime Unit stopped a vehicle at 1350hours today in Burstwick following two reports of hare coursing in the Driffield area this morning. Four males from the West Riding of Yorkshire were interviewed at the roadside in connection of Poaching Offences across the county.

All four males will be summoned to court for the alleged offences and given a 48 hour dispersal notice ordering them to leave the county of the East Riding of Yorkshire and not to return within that period of time.

The driver of the silver NISSAN X-Trail will be dealt with for a number of Road Traffic offences including road tax and has been issued a 12 month Warning Notice for driving in a careless and anti social manner.
