Alert message sent 09/10/2018 15:30:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

Can you help?

Officers are investigating after a lit firework was posted through a letterbox at a property in Driffield.

We received reports that four youths were walking around Bracken Road around 8am on 7 October carrying what was described as a flare.

The firework was put through the letterbox of one house causing smoke damage and damage to the door. The firework went out quickly.

The people inside the house were unhurt apart from suffering slight smoke inhalation.

Witnesses say the males were all dressed in black clothing and were possibly in their late teens.

Do you have any information? Do you know who was responsible?
