Beverley: Man arrested following two burglaries


A 44 year-old man has been arrested in connection with two burglaries in Beverley’s Toll Gavel.

We had reports of an alarm activated at a fish and chip shop and then an outdoor clothing store at around 10pm yesterday 26 September.

One of our newly recruited police officers was first on the scene and saw the suspect leave the back of the property.

The suspect was arrested and remains in custody.

If anyone has information about criminal activity in their area or has been offered stolen property we would like to hear from you.  Your information helps us catch criminals.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious on Wednesday evening in Toll Gavel is asked to call us on 101 quoting reference 16/101532/18, information you provide may help us with our enquiries.
