Tips for Halloween Dear Resident
As we start to get towards Halloween Weekend we thought we would provide some handy tips and tricks to make the season enjoyable for everyone, whether you're going out trick or treating or prefer to stay in!
Tips for Halloween: -If trick or treating knock on those houses with decorations and lights on- often these are signs people are happy to have others knock on their door
-Avoid knocking on doors that have posters advertising no trick or treaters- if you're staying in and would like a quiet night please feel free to print one of these posters which is attached click to the bottom of the email
-Agree a meeting point with your children if lost whilst out trick or treating
-If possible carry glow sticks, a battery operated candle or something hi vis while out trick or treating, to help children safely cross the road
-If older children are going out without adults, advise them to stay in a larger group and if they have a mobile phone take it with them in case of getting lost
-Advise children not to enter any houses while trick or treating without a trusted adult
