Criminal Damage in Haverstoe Park

Criminal Damage in Haverstoe Park

Good morning Haverstoe residents,

We have been made aware of an incident in which criminal damage has been caused by a dog to trees in Haverstoe Park, Cleethorpes some time over the weekend of Saturday 24th-Sunday 25th October 2026. The dog has been witnessed to have chewed the bark and removed this from some trees whilst the owner has not made any reasonable attempts to stop this behaviour by the dog.

If you have any further useful information the crime reference is- 26000151107.

Can I remind all residents to use the official approved reporting channels rather than local Facebook Groups as these are not monitored (feel free to share this on to this page for awareness). I have attached the guidance of how to report crime, information or ASB to Humberside Police via 101, 999, or online via our official website- https://www.humberside.police.uk/ro/report/

Also consider reporting these type of matters to partner agencies such as North-East Lincolnshire Council. Please report any damage to any trees or any fallen tree's caused by the weekends storm via the listed details such as form, email or telephone on NELC website- https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/keeping-our-area-clean-green-and-safe/grounds-maintenance/

Thanks, Dan.
