Good afternoon dear community members,
I want to take this opportunity and make you aware that we have a Hate Crime awareness week from 10th to 17th October in United Kingdom. Hate Crime affects many strands of communities who are vulnerable. The community strands that Humberside Police recognise as vulnerable to hate are listed below:
Race Faith LGBTQ+ Disabled
Humberside Police take Hate Crime very seriously this is why much effort has been made to make it easier for victims to report Hate Crime to Humberside Police. In case of emergency always call 999 and ask for help. Non- emergency matters can be reported via 101. There are online options available to report Hate Crime. Please visit below links to understand in details regarding what is Hate Crime and how to report it.

Humberside Police recognise that for some community members is it easier to report a Hate Crime in confidence at their local community support hub where they attend regularly and know the staff well. All staff have received Hate Crime awareness training so can help the victim with reporting the matter.
