Dear residents.
Below is the bi-monthly report for the months of August and September 2026, the ward had the following crimes/incidents reported:
Crime Burglary Offences: 11 Arson & Criminal Damage: 18 Vehicle Offences: 16 Robbery: 2 Drug related offences: 5 Weapon Offences: 2

The most recent Humber talking surveys showed that the areas of most concern for residents were the illegal use of motorcycles / electric bikes / quad bikes as well as drug dealing in the local area. This has driven our main priority to try and deal with this issue. This has resulted in days of action been organised in the local area as part of Operation Yellowfin to target those riding such bikes and this has resulted in several bikes been seized. We have also arrested persons for suspected drug dealing and will continue to prioritise this. We encourage any persons with any knowledge of persons riding such bikes including quad bikes to contact us using the link below. https://www.humberside.police.uk/ro/report/asb/asb-v3/report-antisocial-behaviour/ All intelligence received will be treated with confidence and your details never disclosed. When information is received about where it is happened allows the team to tailor our response and be in the right area at the right time. We have also targeted shop lifting within the local area and have arrested numerous prolific shop lifters who have been committing offences within our ward area. These shop lifters have been prosecuted and sentenced by the courts. All crime can also be reported anonymously via Crimestoppers if preferred at: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously We will provide another update in 2 months' time.
Best wishes,
The Drypool Neighbourhood Policing Team (part of the Hull East Communities Team). | ||
