Anti-Social and Nuisance Behaviour on Lichfield Avenue, Scunthorpe

POLICE INFORMATION

Police have been investigating reports of nuisance and anti-social behaviour around Tesco Express and shops on Lichfield Avenue in Scunthorpe. This includes, but is not limited to loitering, excessive noise, drinking alcohol, littering, drunken/disorderly behaviour, violent, threatening, and intimidating behaviour, drug use, and suspected drug dealing. The issues identified as a result of Police enquiries have previously gone unreported. The purpose of sharing this information, at this stage, is to actively inform and deter any future related activities.

Police will be working in partnership with other agencies to take enforcement action against any persons deemed to be involved in such behaviour. These include Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) warnings, Fixed Penalty Notices, Dispersal Orders, Community Protection Warnings (CPW’s), Community Protection Notices (CPN’s), Tenancy enforcement action, and arresting those identified as breaching the conditions of these notices.
