Vehicle Interference In Your Area |

Dear Resident,
Humberside Police are investigating two reports of vehicle interference from Shaftesbury Avenue and Morton Road which have occurred over the last few days.
The Shaftesbury Avenue incident occurred at 02:36am on 17/06/2026. Two offenders wearing masks approached a vehicle parked on a driveway and gained entry to the vehicle causing no damage before then making attempts to start the vehicle. They were then disturbed by neighbours before making off from the area. Crime occurrence number: 26*83356.
The Morton Road incident occurred at 04:16am on 16/06/2026. Two offenders approached a vehicle parked on the road side and gained entry to the unlocked vehicle where they searched through the vehicle, but nothing was taken. Crime occurrence number: 26*82766.
If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting the relevant crime occurrence number.
