Dear residents,
This is your bi-monthly update for the Drypool ward regarding news and updates around crime and anti-social behaviour. For the months of April 2026 and May 2026, the ward had the following crimes/incidents reported:
Crime -
Burglary to a residential property - 9 Criminal Damage - 22 Theft from a motor vehicle/vehicle interference - 4 Theft of a motor vehicle - 0 Theft of cycle - 6 Robbery - 1 Violence offences: 28 Anti-social behaviour -
ASB – Personal - 0 ASB – Nuisance - 14 ASB – Environmental - 2
With the warmer weather finally here the Neighbourhood Policing Team has seen an increase in ASB on our street, with this in mind the NPT have continued where we left off with the spring plan, numerous joint patrols with Hull City Council ASB team, Renew outreach team and street scene officers to target street drinkers causing anti-social behaviour and other offences such as begging.
We continue to attend our local school and have conducted numerous presentations to younger children about respect in the community and are now encourage our school to sign up for Lifestyle over the summer holidays, Lifestyle has been running since 1989!. We are continuing to develop intelligence surrounding drug dealing and drug use and encourage residents and businesses to report these issues to help us build this intelligence pattern, so we know what is happening and where.
