Keeping people safe at home is everyone’s business. During Dementia Awareness Week, it’s a timely reminder of how important practical safety checks can be.

We’re encouraging everyone to take a few minutes to test their alarms to make sure they are working and sounding properly and, where possible, to support relatives, friends or neighbours who may appreciate help checking theirs.
