Crime Alert - Theft from a Vehicle in Humberston

Dear residents of Haverstoe, Humberston and New Waltham.

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a theft from a van on QUEEN ELIZABETH ROAD, HUMBERSTON. The incident occurred around 00:30 hours of Wednesday 15th April 2026. The offender approached a parked works van and gained entry to this via the side door. The suspect has selected items from the van before being disturbed by the owner and fleeing the scene with the stolen items.

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting- Log Number- HP-20260415-0022 or Crime Reference Number- 26000050033.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being broken into, please read through the below advice -

Keep the vehicle locked at all times, and ensure you double lock it.

Make sure that your vehicle alarm is set.

Do not leave any valuables or "interesting" items on display

Don't leave any work tools in a van over night.

If possible park your vehicle on a drive or as close to your home as possible.

When away from Home Park in a busy, well overlooked area. If the car will be there after dark try to find somewhere illuminated or covered by CCTV.
