Alert - Anti-Social Behaviour Incident

I'm writing to bring a serious matter to your attention regarding an derelict property on Borrow Road. Recently, there has been a significant increase in reports of youths gaining access to this site. Youths are smashing windows and, alarmingly, throwing bricks and debris at one another. This is not a "hangout spot"; it is a life-threatening environment. A single trip or a falling tile could result in a devastating injury.

We want to reassure the community that we are taking this seriously. We are currently working in partnership with Environmental Health to secure the building as quickly as possible and we are continuing to investigate the criminal damage caused to the site. Please be mindful that there are legal consequences for trespassing and criminal damage that may follow those involved.

We ask that you speak with your children about the dangers of this specific site. Do you know where your children are hanging around? * Are they aware of how unstable this building is?

To assist our investigation, we are appealing to anyone for any footage or information:

• CCTV/Doorbell Footage: If you have cameras in the area, please check for any footage of youths congregating or heading toward the site.

• General Information: Even if the footage seems minor, it helps us build a timeline and identify those at risk.- youths running, covered in paint, acting in an antisocial manner etc
