HEDON Crime Update: Caught in the act |

Three arrests have been made after officers were called to Allured Garth in Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, just before 5am this morning (Friday, 10 April 2026). We received a report from a member of the public claiming they had just been disturbed after hearing noises outside their property, before allegedly seeing four people walking away from the area. One of the individuals was also reported to have been carrying what were believed to be bolt croppers. Officers were immediately deployed to conduct a thorough search of the area to locate those believed to be involved, swiftly stopping a vehicle occupying three people matching the description given by the caller. A 17-year-old boy, 18-year-old man and 19-year-old man were all subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling with intent to steal. Whilst in custody, a search was conducted, and the 17-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of possession of class B drugs. The 19-year-old man was also further arrested whilst in custody on suspicion of assault by beating, and common assault, of an emergency worker. All three remain in police custody assisting with ongoing enquiries at this time.
