E-Bikes

Hornsea NPT officers have taken a number of modified e-Bikes off the streets following ongoing concerns about anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the area. 

These bikes had been altered to exceed legal speed limits and, in some cases, were being ridden dangerously, putting both riders and the public at risk. 

We want to remind everyone that e-bikes must comply with UK regulations. Illegal modifications not only break the law but can also lead to serious injury or worse. 

Our teams will continue to carry out patrols and take action where necessary to keep our communities safe.
