Humberston & New Waltham Crime Data: March 2026 |

Dear residents, please find crime data update for March 2026- I want to share and celebrate that last month was another generally positive month across the wards which could not of been achieved without all the work of you the community, our partners and the local policing team do on a daily basis.
Crime Headlines: On 14th March 2026, several youths entered a HOLIDAY PARK on ST ANTHONY’S BANK ROAD and stole a fire extinguisher before letting this off nearby causing damage and annoyance to owners and residents of Chalets. This matter is still under investigation and enquiries to confirm the identity of suspects are ongoing. On 20th March 2026, there was a robbery at a retail premises on HEWITTS CIRCUS, CLEETHORPES in which the suspect selected several cleaning products before verbally threatening staff with an unknown item secreted in his trousers to facilitate leaving the premises without making any payment for the items. Update- The suspect was arrested and charged with robbery and assault of an emergency worker. He has been remanded into custody and will stay there until he appears before the courts in due course to face sentence. For further updates/information on this please see Humberside Police Facebook page. On 28th March 2026, there was an attempted burglary at a residential property on WILTON ROAD, HUMBERSTON. Suspect attempted to gain access via conservatory and shed entered but nothing taken. No suspect has been identified from our enquiries at this time, and regular high-viz patrols are taking place in the area. Our priorities moving forward in March/April 2026 period will be focusing on Anti-Social Behaviour and Inquisitive Crime. Crime: ASB: Team News/Updates: Inspector Kate DUFFIELD joins us covering Cleethorpes alongside Grimsby East NPT. Inspector DUFFIELD has over 20 years’ experience in policing and has previously worked on Sidney Sussex, Cleethorpes as Sergeant. Inspector Pete MUSGRAVE leaves us to take over at Scunthorpe Rural NPT; we will miss him and grateful for all he has done in Cleethorpes for our communities. Police Sergeant Dave BULLOCK joins us as Cleethorpes NPT supervisor from next week. PS BULLOCK was previously East Marsh NPT supervisor before spending the last couple of months covering the vacant Grimsby West NPT Inspector’s position. PS Ryan JORDAN leaves us to return to Grimsby Response following a short-term spell gaining experience and covering the vacant role following PS Shaun PATTINSON’s move to Immingham NPT, we appreciate the efforts he has put into the area and wish him the best in his future career progression.
