Crime Alert - Theft of a motorbike |

Dear Resident,
Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Theft of a motorbike from Cromwell Road, Grimsby.
The incident occurred between 12:00-04:00am on 27/03/2026. The offender(s) approached a motorcycle that was parked on Cromwell Road near to the junction of Bowers Avenue. Damage was caused to the steering lock and the bike was stolen but then later located and recovered by the owner in the area of Bowers Avenue.
If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 26*41038.
Also of note, there was an attempted theft of motorcycle from a rear garden on Naseby Grove during the same period and also a report regarding persons in rear gardens and on shed roofs in the area of Yarborough Road and Bowers Avenue/Court. Please check your outbuildings, ensure they are locked and secure but if you find that anything has been stolen or damaged then please report this via 101 or reporting online on the Humberside Police website.
