Two men charged with fraud and theft in East Hull

Two men from Hull have been charged with multiple counts of fraud by false representation and theft from a motor vehicle.

Simon Hall, 41-years-old of Glencoe Street, Hull has been charged with three counts of fraud by false representation and three counts of theft from a motor vehicle.

James Barnes, 37-years-old of Clare Grove, has been charged with three counts of fraud by false representation and two counts of theft from a motor vehicle

Both men were remanded into custody and appeared at Hull Magistrates Court on Friday, 27 February.

Officers were called to reports of car doors being tried and property being stolen from inside cars on the Ings Ward between Thursday, 12 February and Sunday 22 February 2026.
